No he means that in the pallet, the colours have to be in the same place in the pallet. Like if the first colour is light blue in the front sprite, the back sprite can't have like black as the first colour for example. Even if they use the same 16 colours, they have be indexed to the same numbers in the pallet.

How does one make sure that they are indexed to the same numbers in the pallet?

Using the pallet editor on the image editor (you'd need to use something other than paint. I believe Ifranview is the most commonly recommended free image editor for doing graphics work for tilesets and sprites and whatnot.

Not sure, since I have a PC, but I seem to remember it being cross platform. Another one that might be helpful (that is also free) is called GIMP. I know it runs on Windows and Linux, and I think Mac as well. So that is another one you could try if Ifranview doesn't support Macs.

Nope. XD Idk, I have parallels which allows me to run windows on my Mac (It's a virtual machine).

Actually, all images are converted to RGB when loading. The issue is that he is importing single frames, so the alignment is off between the images.

I use GIMP for all of my image needs. You can index and work with palettes in it as long as you know what you are doing, which may take some Googling.

I want to make a script, where you talk to a dude and he gives you a new Pokémon created with this program, will it work? And can someone please explain me or give link to a tutorial how to add new Pokémon to the wild with Hex editing? Is there any chance, that in the future this tool will be compatible with this patch: http://www.pokecommunity.com/showpos...&postcount=252 ?
